There is no dispute that when it comes to our health, the best gifts always come from nature.. It is little wonder then that when it comes to mental health, we also look to nature to provide us with its powerful plants for the treatment and maintenance of a healthy mind. I have taken the time to learn more about plants and their usefulness in the treatment of daily mental health issues. To that end, I scourged the internet for the best herbal remedies for mental health disorders, particularly bipolar mood swings mental disorder.
I have found that most of these herbs have been used for centuries by many communities for
from around the world. Well, the taste is sometimes likely to put one off, even for a tea worshiper like me. I know now what it means when they say that it is the spoonful of sugar that makes the medicine go down. I have a sweet tooth, so, my tea is often like nectar anyway!
From roots to leaves and even flowers, each herb provides very efficient mineral compounds which help with stabilizing mood swings. Yesterday I bought two herbs in small pot plants; lavender and St Johns Wort. This is how I kick off my new gardening for mental health project. I have every intention to grow it. I have collected all the relevant plants and the information on how it can help me and others. I have shared here some of my interesting finds for future collection;
